I think it's actually possible that the online casinos promote this "program" themselves to attract punters to play their tables, because the overall odds are still in their favour (although only very slightly) if you follow the traditional system. Let me explain... All casinos have a table bet limit, on many it is £300. This means that if you started with a £1 bet and then doubled it each time you lost, then you could only play 9 spins before you hit the table limit, preventing you from continuing the sequence and therefore forcing you to lose at that point. Although the odds of hitting 9 losses in a row is only 0.31%, when it does happen (and trust me, it will!) you will have doubled your initial bet 9 times and then lost it! If you started with a £1 bet, this means that at that point you have lost £255! Now to get that back at £1 per spin will take you 255 spins (with no more than 9 losses in a row within the sequence)! If you study the statistics a little closer and watch the Roulette wheel to confirm it, this will happen on average once or possibly twice in an hour of continuous play (during which time you will probably make about 200-300 spins), whereas, the majority of the time, the maximum losses in a row will be no more than 5. So, if you lost 5 spins in a row, you would have lost £31 and it would only take 31 spins (with no more than 5 losses in a row within the sequence) to win it back. Now the odds of 31 spins going your way, compared to 255 is where the casino has the advantage if you keep doubling to 9 spins! But if you don't double beyond 5 or at most 6 spins, this gives you the edge (after six spins you would have lost £63 and it would take 63 winning spins to recover this loss). Hence, even though you make some losses, they are smaller and more easily regained during fewer spins; and the odds of you recovering them are also in your favour! The odds of recovering losses of more than 6 spins are against you and in the casino's favour.

So, you see, it's quite a complex problem, but here is my solution to it... only double up a maximum of 5 times! Then whatever happens, accept the loss if you have to, but restart the betting sequence with your minimum bet again regardless. By doubling no more than 5 times you will avoid the major losing streaks therefore limiting your losses and will find that the majority of the time you will win the sequence, maximising your winnings! This gives YOU the edge instead of the Casino!

So, now we'll examine the system in more detail, in case you haven't come across it before and you're wondering what on earth I'm going on about! :-) This article describes this system which WILL give you an advantage over online casinos. If you want to learn a way to predict which number will come up next on a Roulette table, then I can't help you here, and you won't find that sort of help anywhere else either!  The ball on a roulette table lands on numbers in a purely random manner, and as such it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to predict which number will come up next or which numbers might appear more frequently than others.  Don't believe me?  Well, go spend your hard earned cash on the many systems on the internet that claim they can make these sorts of predictions.  However, I guaranteed that you'll be wasting your money.  It is just not possible; accept it! HOW TO BET

1. There are many different kinds of bets that can be placed on a roulette table:

2. This Roulette System utilizes only the "outside bets" and more specifically the red/black even-money outside bets. These bets have a payout of 1:1. This means is that if you place a £1 bet on "red" and the ball lands on a red number you get your original £1 back plus another £1.

4. This Roulette System involves always betting on either red or black. Whichever you chose stick with it and keep betting on the same colour. The goal is to win £1 over and over again. To do this start by betting a £1 chip on let's say black. 

5. If the ball lands on a black number you win £1. Take your chips off the table and start again by betting another £1 on black again.

If the ball does not land on black (and hence you lose £1), on the next spin double your bet to £2 but keep it on black.  If the next spin lands on black you will win £4.  This will cover the £3 you lost in the first spin plus a profit of £1.  You then clear all your chips off the table and start over again with £1 on black again. If you decide you want to change colour to red, only do so after you have just won; personally I prefer to stay on one colour all the time. However, and this is where my system deviates from the others; do NOT double beyond the 5th or 6th loss; just stay on the same colour and start the betting sequence again with your minimum bet. In other words, at this point it is better to take a small loss than to keep pushing your luck on larger and larger amounts. Remember, the odds are ALWAYS just under 50% that you will win or lose, regardless of how many times it has gone for or against you, so don't think it has to go your way on the next spin; The table has no "memory" and doesn't "owe" you anything! I had two losing sequences of 9 spins in less than an hour, so it will happen, however, because I had reset the bet to minimum after the 5th spin, the amount lost in this sequence was much less than it would have been had I kept doubling it all the way through and still lost!

So the rule is, you always start with your minimum bet (what capital you have, and how much you can therefore afford to lose on any sequence of 5 spins and still have stake money left to continue, with will determine what your maximum starting bet should be; money management is as important as betting rules! Never risk more than 10% of your capital on a losing sequence of 5 spins. So, don't bet more than £1 if you have no more than £300 stake money to start with. If you have less than this then you will be taking a higher risk if the table's minimum bet is £1, which is sometimes the case; I would advise that, if you have less than £300 to risk, you find a casino which accepts smaller minimum bets.) we'll use a £1 minimum bet for this example. Example of what happens over 4 spins where you lose the first three spins but win the fourth:

Total amount wagered = £1 + £2 + £4 + £8 = £15

Total amount won = £16

So total profit = amount won - amount wagered = £16 - £15 = £1

So what are the chances that it could go a full five spins without landing on your chosen colour?! After all, on any given spin you have a full 47.4% chance that the ball will land on your colour. (The reason it isn't a 50%-50% chance is because of the zero and double zero numbers as mentioned earlier). So on just one spin alone you have a pretty good chance of it landing on your colour, so what are the chances that you would lose 5 times in a row?!

Well, let's do a little statistical mathematics; the formula looks like this... (Try to play the tables which have only 1 zero, e.g., French Roulette, not one which has a double zero as well e.g., American Roulette, as this improves the odds in your favour just slightly).

So you see there is only a 5.22% chance that 5 spins in a row could occur without your chosen coloured number appearing. That's  over 19:1 against! Pretty good odds in your favour... and, it would have to happen many times in a row within a short time span and sequence of spins to greatly affect your capital.

UPDATE: This is my plan for accelerating this system to make money quicker, whilst still staying within money management rules:

Ideally start with £400 capital. Bet £1 on each spin. Do this each day with a target of making £100. During this period you are risking less than 10% on each sequence of 5 spins. (at £1 a losing sequence of 5 spins means you lose £31. This is 7.75% of the capital and means that this losing sequence would have to happen 13 times in a row for you to lose all your capital! After 3 days you should have more than doubled your starting capital to £700.

Then double your starting bet to £2 (playing the same way as before but using £2 as the starting bet which is then doubled each time). Target £100 per day still, and in three days you should have £1000. You may notice that it takes a little less time to reach your target of £100 each day. During this period you are still risking less than 10% on each sequence of 5 spins. (at £2 a losing sequence of 5 spins means you lose £62. this is 8.86% of the capital).
